Collection Supply: 3,333
Theeurbanminer had a vision: in the year 3333 all mineable deposits on earth will be drained of their resources. To prevent this from happening, a coalition has been formed known as The Urban Miner Project. The Urban Miners posses the knowledge of reclaiming materials from retired electronics. It is our job to spread awareness and educate the masses on the benefits that come from recycling electronics. Join the Urban Miners to see how the story unfolds.
We are not here to create a collection for the sole purpose of flipping. We aim to create a solid, quality project that will stand the test of time. We plan to enter the web3 space and grow with our community by building a brand that holders are proud to be a part of. The bear market allows people the opportunity to slow down and truly learn the purpose and utility (if any) that different projects have to offer. We are at the forefront of the nonprofit sector diving into web3 and we are confident in our ability lead the pack. E-waste is a global problem that requires immediate attention. We are here to educate, create, and problem solve. We can't wait for you to join our team of Urban Miners.
Unlike ERC-721, the ability of ERC-1155 to convert digital or real world assets into token simultaneously makes it the next generation of token standard. It has the ability to deploy multiple token types in a single smart contract.
THE TEAM
@JOHNNYTEA
FOUNDER
@JohnnyTea aka John Thompson has been following the web3 space since 2018, the same year he founded the nonprofit organization 'The Urban Miner Project.' After observing from the sidelines for a few years, he developed the vision for our NFT project which he believes will fuel the future of electronics recycling. John is an entrepreneur by nature and has started several businesses, some successful, some not so much! The skills and experiences he’s gained along the journey are what will propel The Urban Miner Project to unimaginable heights. “I see the huge potential this space offers nonprofits to tell their stories and fundraise without the noise!”
@SHANTAN
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
@Shantan aka Shannon Stealy and John are partners in business as well as life. She has been there since the beginning and is the cofounder of the nonprofit organization, The Urban Miner Project. She is a jack of all trades and her main operations will consist of coordinating collaborations, managing the marketing team, and assisting with project development. With Shantan at the forefront of operations, we can sleep easy knowing The Urban Miner Project will be steadily rising to the top.
@THATISNTJELLO
COMMUNITY DIRECTOR
@thataintjello aka Alex Eddy was a natural addition to the team. He has known John and Shannon for over a decade and his people skills and care for community was something that fit in perfectly with the Urban Miner Project vision. With extensive work and experience in the school system, he will be a key part of our education program, community outreach, and community management.
